What Happened?

An ordinary childhood suddenly turned into a nightmare for 8-year-old Baby Krishna. A few weeks ago she started experiencing continuous fever, weakness, body pain, and loss of appetite. Her parents initially thought it was a normal infection, but her condition kept worsening.

After multiple tests and blood investigations, doctors diagnosed her with Blood Cancer (Leukemia) — a dangerous and life-threatening disease in which the bone marrow stops producing healthy blood cells. Because of this:

• Her immunity has dropped critically

• She feels constant fatigue and dizziness

• She is at high risk of infections and internal bleeding

• Her body cannot fight even small illnesses

She is now admitted in the PICU under strict medical observation. Tubes, injections, and machines have replaced her toys.

Her Current Condition

Baby Krishna is extremely weak and dependent on hospital care. Doctors are trying to stabilize her condition before continuing long-term cancer treatment.

She is suffering from:

• Recurrent high fever
• Severe anemia and low platelets
• Weak immunity and infection risk
• Bleeding complications
• Continuous monitoring requirement

Without immediate and uninterrupted treatment, her life is in serious danger.

Treatment She Urgently Needs

Doctors have started emergency care and advised a prolonged treatment plan which includes:

• Chemotherapy medicines & cancer management

• Repeated blood and platelet transfusions

• Powerful IV antibiotics & injections

• PICU admission and monitoring

• Lab tests and bone marrow investigations

• Supportive medicines and nutrition therapy

• Follow-up treatment and recovery care

This treatment will continue for several weeks and requires strict hospital supervision.

Family’s Situation

Baby Krishna’s father is a daily wage worker. The family has already spent whatever little savings they had just to get her admitted. They have sold belongings and borrowed money from relatives, but they cannot afford such a huge treatment cost.
